Bosch SDS-plus-7X Hammer Drill Bit 12x100x160 mm

When the rebar is close and the deadline closer, you need a drill bit that doesn't flinch. The Bosch SDS-plus-7X Hammer Drill Bit (12x100x160 mm) punches through reinforced concrete with a full carbide 4-cutter head that stays sharp longer, so you can anchor, mount, and move on without swapping bits.

Key specifications

• Diameter: 12 mm
• Working length: 100 mm
• Total length: 160 mm
• Shank: SDS-plus
• Head: Full carbide, 4 cutters
• Flutes: 4-flute design for rapid dust removal
• Centring tip: Yes
• Wear indicator: Yes

Why it earns its place in your kit

The 4-flute design clears debris fast, keeping the bit cooler and the drilling speed up. The centring tip gives you a clean start, no walking. And the wear indicator? A simple visual cue that tells you when it's time for a fresh bit—no guesswork.

Who it's for

• Contractors drilling anchor holes in concrete or reinforced concrete
• Electricians and plumbers fixing fixtures to masonry
• Renovators tackling heavy-duty drilling on site

How to use it

Fit it into any SDS-plus rotary hammer, select hammer drilling mode, and apply steady pressure—let the tool do the work. No excessive force needed. Sold as a single piece.

Tip: For longer bit life in reinforced concrete, start with a smaller pilot hole if you hit dense rebar. And keep an eye on the wear indicator—when it's gone, it's time to replace.
