SENORTECH Docking Wall Mount Station tabs2/tabs21 - RS-232

RS-232 ports are rare on modern tablets, but this dock brings one back — and bolts your tabs2 or tabs21 to the wall while it's at it. No more hunting for a charger, no more loose cables, no more tablet sliding off the counter. The SENORTECH Docking Wall Mount Station turns your tablet into a fixed terminal: always powered, always connected, always ready for the next scan, swipe, or command.

What you get

• Rock-solid wall mount with screws and anchors included — install it once, forget it's there
• RS-232 serial port (DB9 male) for direct wired communication with legacy or industrial gear
• Charging via the included external DC power adapter — no extra purchases
• LED indicators show power and status at a glance
• Built from high-grade ABS plastic and metal alloy, so it shrugs off bumps and knocks
• Optional key lock (not included) adds theft protection in public spots

Who it's for

Retail checkout counters, warehouse picking stations, factory control panels, smart home hubs, hotel check-in kiosks — anywhere you need a tablet that stays put and talks to other equipment. If you're running a point-of-sale system or an industrial interface that still relies on RS-232, this dock is the missing link.

How to use it

Mount the dock on a sturdy wall using the supplied hardware. Slide your tabs2 or tabs21 in — it clicks into place and starts charging. Connect the RS-232 cable to your serial device, then configure the baud rate and settings on the tablet to match your equipment. For public installations, add the optional key lock to keep the tablet from walking off.

Tip: Before mounting, double-check that the wall surface can bear the weight and that the RS-232 cable reaches your device. For outdoor or humid areas, this dock is not rated — keep it indoors.
